Susan Phillips Robin, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on September 26, 1950, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, to Wilton Phillips, Jr. and Patricia Louise Upchurch Phillips.
A graduate of Broadmoor High School, Susan went on to attend Spencer Business College and Louisiana State University. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Temple-Inland’s Orlando packaging plant, where she was respected for her dedication and professionalism.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Susan is survived by her loving children, Jennifer Robin and Jeremy Robin; as well as her children lovingly placed for adoption at birth, Angie Bankston Whitehead and her husband, Michael, and Ronnie Bankston. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Spencer Robin, Patricia Robin, Skylar Bankston, Hunter Bankston, Sean Whitehead, and Riley Whitehead; and her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Kleinpeter and Chamberlin Kleinpeter. She is also remembered with love by numerous extended family members and friends.
Susan enjoyed playing games on her tablet and found her greatest peace in time spent with her family and her dogs. The memories she created with those she loved will remain a source of comfort forever.
Private services for family and friends will be held at a later date.
