Cecilia- A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Pellerin Funeral Home - Cecilia for Penny P. Robin, 64, who passed away on November 9, 2025 just days shy of her 65th birthday.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia on Thursday from 9:00 AM to until the time of service at 1:00 PM.
A Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM by Deacon Perry Guidry.
Fr. Michael Richard will officiate at the funeral service. Readers will be Lori Bienvenu, Janice Guidry, and Sandra Dauphinet.
Burial will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Penny was born on November 12, 1960 in Lafayette. She dedicated her life to her family as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She took immense pride in her household and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passions included fishing, cooking, camping, and spending cherished moments with her loved ones. Whether watching her grandsons play sports, attending their games, or enjoying time at the camp in Pecan Island while crabbing, Penny embraced every opportunity to share laughter and love with her family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Carrol Robin; children, Tracy Robin (Shelby) and Tricia Chance (William); grandchildren, Lincoln Chance, Owen Chance, Elodie Chance, and Kasey Robin; and siblings, Debra Pool and Tracy Pool.
She is preceded in death by her father, T.A. Pool; mother, Rose Romero Pool; stepfather, James "Jake" Garfield Pool; and her son, John Robin.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Robin, William Chance, Lincoln Chance, Owen Chance, Jacob Dauphinet, and Gerard Bienvenu.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kasey Robin.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Degatur and his staff and Hospice of Acadiana for the great care given to Penny.
