It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Malcolm Olin Settoon, who left this world on June 4, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 72.
Born in New Orleans on March 5, 1953, Malcolm was the beloved son of the late Mary Leona Anderson Settoon and Durno Olin Settoon. A 1972 graduate of Broadmoor High School, Malcolm made his life in Louisiana, where he built a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for his family.
Malcolm is survived by his sons, Christopher Ryan Settoon and Michael Barrett Settoon, and by Michael’s wife, Cheri Settoon. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Lincoln and Margaret Settoon, who brought light and laughter to his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his cherished sisters, Florence Elaine Settoon and Ann Settoon Abernethy.
