Donn Alan Moody, 68, of Dennison, Ohio passed away suddenly on September 17, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. Born on February 19, 1957 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Donald “Moot” Earl and Violet Marie (Soulsby) Moody.
Donn was a 1975 graduate of Claymont High School. He remained a loyal mustang throughout his adult life, being an avid fan of the Claymont Mustang High School football team. Above all else, Donn loved spending time with his family, and especially treasured every moment spent with his beloved nieces and nephews.
Donn is survived by his sisters, Susan (Mike) Harris with whom he had resided and Michele Moody; sister-in-law, Donna Moody; nieces and nephews, Maegan (Matt) Cummings, Dia Czatt, Ryan (Destiny) Moody, Riley (Michela) McDaniel, and Emmalee (Kaleb Parrish) McDaniel; great-nieces and great-nephews, Blake, Abbey Lane, Haylee, Zane, Finn, Liam, Scarlett, Eleanor, Lennon, Briella, Amelia, Charlotte, and Gwen. In addition to his parents, Donn is preceded in death by his brothers, Scott and Patrick Moody; nieces, Melinda Zurcher and Danielle “Dani” Fellers; and great-niece, Ellie.
In keeping with Donn’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public service. His family will celebrate his life privately. Those wishing to honor Donn’s memory through a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Claymont High School football team, in lieu of flowers.
