Connie L. Bregar

MCDONALD - Connie L. Bregar, 69, passed away early Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

Connie was born Jan. 21, 1956, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late David and Sarah Grantz Isenberg, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1974 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and later studied business management and accounting at ITT Technical Institute, where she earned an associate degree.

Throughout her life, Connie worked many jobs while raising her family, but the role she cherished most was being a Nana. She enjoyed baking, crocheting and shopping, and treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the center of her world.

Connie leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband of 45 years, David Bregar, whom she married March 15, 1980; her three children, Heather (Steven) Mangin of South Carolina, Heidi Bregar of McDonald and Bryan (Tamara) Bregar of McDonald; 13 grandchildren, Steven Jr., Joseph, Wyatt, Caitlynne (Chris), Zachary, Meghan, Mariah, Nicholas, Mckenzie, Sidney, Gavin, Hunter and Chloe; her great-granddaughter, Margot; a brother, David (Cindy) Isenberg of Niles and many extended family members.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, a daughter, Angela Bregar; grandson, Grayson Mangin and a sister, Joy Greathouse preceded Connie in death.

Per Connie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Her family will honor her life privately, holding close the memories and love she leaves behind.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Girard.
