Connie was born the daughter of William "Bill" D. McKee and Sarah E. (Massey) Wilkes on December 31, 1953, in East St. Louis, Illinois.

She married Mr. Ronald Flitz on May 16, 2006, in Walton Park in Litchfield, Illinois. He has since preceded her in death on August 18, 2015.

Connie knew the value of hard work and spent her early years owning a housekeeping buisness and being a homemaker, while growing and raising her family. She and her husband Ronald enjoyed their quiet home deep in the country where they would raise animals and had a farm. Connie loved to grow rose bushes and garden. She also had a passion for the game of Bingo and loved to dance whenever she could.

Mrs. Flitz is survived by her daughters, Robin (Harry) Willard of Litchfield and Jennifer Wisnasky (Donald) of Carlinville, a son Frank Winasky, her five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, as well as several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Sarah; her husband, Ronald Flitz; and siblings, brother Terry McKee, and sisters Wanda Cook, Kelly McKee, Angie LaBruyere, and Cynthia "Cindy" Elberg.
