Connie Darlene Gaddis, age 62, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born March 25, 1963, in Griffin to Hoyt and Ethel Shirley. She married Donnie Gaddis on September. 22, 1980. Darlene and Donnie went on to have 3 children, Debra, in 1982, Christie in 1984 and Josh in 1988.
Darlene worked as a custodian in Cherokee County Schools for 12 years. Darlene loved making a difference in the schools not only for the staff but for the students.

She is survived by her husband Donnie, mother Ethel, daughters Debra and Christie (Randy), granddaughters Brandi (Kyle) and Dakota, grandsons Josh and Jordan, sisters Patsy (Dooley) and Nicki (Kirk), brother Wayne (Christina) and several nieces, nephews, and other family.
She is preceded in death by her father Hoyt, son Josh, niece Holly and brother Frank.
A service will be held on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 4-7 at Canton Funeral Home in Macedonia.
Darlene will truly be missed but her humor and kind hearted spirit will live on in all that were blessed to know her. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Connie, please visit our Tree Store.
