Connie Holzer, 87 years old, of Naples, Florida and formerly Novi, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on October 9, 2023 in ltaly, a place she called heaven. The only child of Raymond and Beatrice Stoiber, she was born on August 14, 1936 in Toledo, OH. She attended DeVilbiss High School. On February 19, 1955 she married Tom Holzer. In 1974, they moved to Michigan and established Tom Holzer Ford. Upon the death of her husband in 2006, she ensured the dealership continued to thrive and served as CEO and Dealer Principal until it's sale in 2022. Locally known in the Detroit area for writing and starring in Tom Holzer Ford commercials, she was the epitome of style and fashion. She was professionally recognized in 2013 by WJR, as a Women Who Lead Honoree. In 2017, she was honored by Jewish Vocational Services and was the primary guest speaker at their annual Trade Secrets fundraising event. Additionally, she supported many local schools and organizations throughout the community. Perhaps one of her greatest accomplishments, which she was extremely proud of, and brought her great joy, was the restoration of her 300 year-old villa in Lucca, Italy.

Connie is survived by her children, Terry Holzer, Victoria Holzer (Neal), Tamara (Dr. Scott) Connin, Thomas Buzzy Holzer (Jan), Tracy Holzer (Joe), Heidi Holzer (Jackie); and 10 grandchildren, Lynsay, Reilly, Jodie, Ashley, Kelsey, Nicky, Thomas, Taylor, Madeline, and Chase; and 20 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday (October 26) from 4-7p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI 48084. Funeral Mass will be Friday, (October 27) at 10 a. m. at St. Hugo of the Hills Stone Chapel, 2215 Opdyke Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Paul Smith Golf Classic (Benefiting Detroit Children's Charities) or Gesher Human Services (formerly known as JVS).
