Connie Kottkamp

GREENFIELD – Connie Everitt (Kroll) Kottkamp, age 73, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at her home. She was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on January 27, 1949. In 1968, she graduated from Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis. She married Kenneth Kottkamp on June 19, 1999 in Greenfield.
Before retiring in 2019, she worked in the lawn and garden area at Walmart for 15 years. Connie enjoyed coaching gymnastics at Indiana Gym-Nest for many years. She also loved ballroom dancing, trivia and spending time with her family.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Kottkamp of Greenfield; son, Bradley Kroll of Valencia, PA; daughter Shelley Bates (Kyle) of New Palestine; step-daughters Cheryl Hillock and Leigh Kistner, 14 grandchildren; sister, Yvonne Abbott of Indianapolis; and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Shepard; and brother, Michael Everitt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Greenfield-Hancock Animal Management, 2195 W US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
