Connie Virginia McNutt, 87, of Weatherford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at White’s Funeral Home at 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford, Texas.
Connie was born in Weatherford on August 8, 1938, the eldest daughter of Codie Hamilton and wife, Vera (Miller) Hamilton. She married Charlies McNutt on January 20th, 1956, and was blessed with two daughters, Catherine Lee and Carrie Lyn. They were a military family and traveled from stateside and overseas bases for many years before retiring in Weatherford. Connie worked for several years for BG&R Insurance, later purchased by Higginbotham. She and Charles have been members of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church of Weatherford for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Codie and Vera Hamilton; and brother, Douglas Hamilton.
Remaining to cherish Connie’s memory is Charles, her husband for almost 70 years. Also, her two daughters, Catherine Ryan and husband, Jeff, and Carrie Whitfield and husband, Anthony; sister, Sue Moore; and sister-in-law, Sue Hamilton. Also left behind to miss her are grandchildren Caleb (Shy) Miller, Ashley (David) Walker, and Camryn (Cody) Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Frankie Fisher, Shelby Fisher, and Trella Walker. She was also blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gentiva Hospice and the team at Windsor House for the care Connie received during her illness.
