Connie J Miller of New Rumley passed away peacefully at The Carroll Golden Age Retreat following a long battle with cancer on February 18, 2025.
Connie was born in Canton, Ohio on September 1, 1953, to the late Arthur and late Norma (Albaugh) Furbee.
Connie is survived by her two sons, Bill & Mindy Miller of Jewett; grandchildren Nash (Brianna), Miller & Marina Miller, three great grandchildren: Mason, Victoria & Charlotte; son Buddy (Sherry) Miller of Sherrodsville, grandchildren Carter & Carson. Brother Allan (Pixie) Furbee, two sisters Janice (Kim) Bick & Cleda Grimes & several nieces, great nieces & nephews. Long time friends Vicky Cramblett and Vanessa (Jason) Birney & children.
In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her longtime companion Paul Gotschall and nephew Will Furbee.
Connie enjoyed watching her two grandchildren Nash & Marina growing up and show horses, sheep and cows, also enjoyed watching them play sports. Then her great-grandson Mason whom she enjoyed hanging out on the porch watching him play & giving him popsicles & chocolates. Connie enjoyed being around animals and the farm.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 1 pm to 3 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 101 W Main St, Scio. Rev Kim Arbaugh will officiate her funeral service directly following at 3 pm.

To my special cousin Connie,Thanks for making this "city boy" right at home in the country,teaching me to ride a horse (Frisky) and giving me a taste of country living. I will always remember all the special times we had on the farm together with the cousins R.I.P.your cousin Bobby Albaugh
