Constance Applegate, of Milltown, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. She was 91 years old. Born in New Brunswick, she was raised in Milltown. She lived in East Brunswick with her late husband Albert, and moved back to Milltown over 20 years ago.
Connie was a parishioner for most of her life of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown. While living in East Brunswick she was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew RC Church and Past President of the Altar Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Milltown Senior Center and the Highland Park Theater Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.
She is predeceased by her husband Albert Applegate (d. 2000), her sister Dorothy Olesinski (d. 2023) and her parents Kenneth and Elizabeth (Becker) Martin.
Surviving are her devoted nephews William, Michael and Robert Olesinski, all of Milltown; and her great nephews and niece and their families, Nicholas and Zachary Olesinski and Christine Carasso.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 11th, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, North Main St., Milltown. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
