Maureen “Moe” Morris, of Milltown, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at home. She was 70 years old. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she moved to Milltown 42 years ago.
Maureen was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick and Trenton State College. She was a paralegal with Allstate Insurance in Freehold, prior to becoming the ultimate homemaker.
Moe enjoyed fine dining and taking care of her family. She liked gardening, QVC shopping, true crime TV, Broadway musicals and the Jersey Shore.
She is predeceased by her parents James and Josephine (Romano) McCourt, and her brother Kevin McCourt (d. 2024)
Surviving is her loving husband, of 43 years, William “Billy” Morris, and her sons Ryan and Scott Morris, of Milltown. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 30th, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, North Main St., Milltown. Entombment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com .
