Nadia Abisleiman, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 94 years old. Born in Lebanon, she came to the United States in 1987. She lived in New Brunswick before moving to Somerset.
She was a parishioner of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Nadia was a great cook. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Most of all she loved taking care of her family.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of over 62 years, David N. Abisleiman (d. 2019), her sister Zomorod Abidrgham, and her brothers Elias and Youseff Ayoub.
Surviving are her sons Samy Abisleiman of Boca Raton FL, Alexi Abisleiman and his wife Roula, of Toms River, Naji Abisleiman of Somerset, and Gus Sleiman of New Brunswick; her daughters Rima Zoghby and her husband Chuck and Zeina Kozah and her husband Elias, all of North Brunswick; her sister Milia Ghostine of Lebanon; and 8 grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, October 15th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be Thursday, 11:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sharbel Church. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
