Constance K. Cain, 84, passed away on March 9th 2023 at the Holiday Resort in Salina, Kansas.
She was born April 14, 1938, in Plainville, Kansas to Gladys and Carl Larsen.
Constance spent most of her life as a homemaker. She loved spending time working in her vegetable and flower garden. During the summer it was nothing unusual for her to can more beats, tomatoes, and many other vegetables than a single person could possibly eat. She also really enjoyed going fishing, spending time with her family, and reading the Bible.
She never really had a whole lot of money and always seemed to make do with what she had. Often, putting things off or letting things go because she couldn't afford it. But the one thing she always made sure of is that there was something to eat if you showed up to visit and stayed for a while.
She leaves behind her sister, Janet LeRouges of Florida; daughter, Terry Plunkett (Alan) of Carlton, Kansas; sons, Rick McCall of Culver, Kansas, Tim McCall (Karen) of Derby, Kansas.
She is survived by seven grandchildren, Joe Thompson (Mandy), Teresa Thompson (Joe), Levi Plunkett, Tonia Curtis (William), Jared McCall (Nicole), Chad McCall (Jenna) and Mariah McCall; twelve great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and brother, Lavonne Larsen.
She will be greatly missed by her family.
Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.
