Constance "Coni" Cataldi

Constance "Coni" M. Cataldi, 99 of Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Lawrence, Coni was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Sebastiana (Attinello) Cataldi. She was educated in Lawrence schools and received her business degree from Merrimack College.

She was very proud of her Sicilian heritage and loved to travel to Europe but was a true Lawrencian at heart.

Playing cards was one of Coni's favorite pass times; be it in a casino or at her kitchen table with friends and family. She was a whiz at 45's, Scala Quaranta, and Scopa.

Coni leaves behind her dedicated cousins Carol (Cataldo) Carsanaro, Sandra (Cataldo) Pappalardo, Sharon (McCarty) Walsh and husband John, Sheila (McCarty) Christie, her cherished Goddaughter Lisa Pascuzzi, many other cousins and dear friends.

The family would like to thank Patricia Ferguson from St. Monica's for her tireless devotion in bringing Coni the Eucharist and praying for her and with her for so many years, and also to the High Pointe Hospice House staff for their gentle care and kindness.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, MA 01844. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 at Holy Rosary Shrine, 28 Union St, Lawrence, MA, with burial to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Methuen.
