Donna Barton Obituary
Born in Lawrence in 1952 to the late Angelo J. and Phyllis (Consiglio) Marsella, Donna grew up in and remained a lifelong resident of Methuen. Her childhood was marked by a strong bond with her brothers, a connection that shaped her life and remained a source of joy and strength throughout the years.
After graduating from high school, Donna began her career as an Inspector for Raytheon, where her sharp mind, attention to detail, and determined spirit made her a valued member of the team. She later pursued her passion for helping others by earning her certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant, an accomplishment she took great pride in. Her work in caregiving reflected her natural compassion and her instinct to support those in need.
Donna will be remembered for her generous heart, her intelligence, and her unwavering determination. She was deeply connected to her community and was known for enthusiastically stepping in to help friends, neighbors, and anyone who needed a hand. Her kindness was steady and sincere, and she touched many lives through simple acts of care.
She is survived by her brother Richard Marsella and his wife Diane, as well as her beloved nieces and nephew: Joy Ann Marsella, Kay Marsella, Lisa Marsella, Kim Marsella, and Brian Marsella.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brother Ronald Marsella and her sister in law Elaine Marsella. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A Service for Donna will follow at 11:00 am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
