Williamsport, MD - Constance Mae "Connie" Cole, 93, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Fahrney-Keedy Home and Village Boonsboro, MD. She will be missed dearly by her family.
She was born on July 16, 1932, in Phillipsburg, PA to the late George Franklin and Mildred Leah (Haywood) Kreps.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Bruce Cole, Sr. on October 26, 2011. They were married for 61 years.
Connie was a 1950 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She was employed by Redland Brick (Cushwa Plant) Williamsport, MD until her retirement.
She was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church. She most recently attended Hub City Vineyard Hagerstown, MD.
Connie was a lifetime member of the Potomac Post #202 American Legion AuxiliaryWilliamsport, MD; charter member of the Williamsport Country Club; Major League Professional Baseball Wives Club.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband to various cities while he was playing MLB.
Connie is survived by her twin daughters Karla Y. chambers (Skip) of Williamsport, MD and Karen Y. Young of Orlando, FL; son David B. Cole, Jr. (Pamela) of Williamsport, MD; son Darin L. Cole of Chincoteague, VA; sisters Doris Baker of Williamsport, MD, Betty Haberbeck of Martinsburg, WV, and Dawn Barnes of Williamsport, MD; brothers Larry Kreps of Williamsport, MD, George "Jackie" Kreps, Jr. of Pinesburg, MD, and Gary Kreps of Mount Alto, PA; grandchildren Chip Chambers (Cortney), Katie Webb (Jonathan), Alan C. Artz, II, Kellyn Smith (Matt), Andrew Chambers (Nicole), Ryan Young, Hannah Smith (Billy), Nikita Cole (Billy); great grandchildren Grayce, Finley, Boh, Maddy, Walker, Austin, Marley, Cole, Sophia, Russell, Jocelyn, Dawson, Devlyn, and Evelyn; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Lewis Kreps.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, October, 21, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Burial will be private.
