Vernon Lee Cline, 74, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at his home. He was born on March 3, 1951 in Pinesburg, MD, to the late Kenneth Frederick Cline, Sr. and Mable Irene (Householder) Cline Reiff. He was a 1969 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was predeceased by his wife Cheryl Ann (Burke) Cline on April 18, 2021. Vernon was employed for the Washington County Roads Department for 30 years until his retirement. He served in the United States Army Reserves, retiring after 22 years. He was of the Protestant Faith. Vernon was a member of Potomac Post 202 American Legion, Williamsport, MD, Amvets Post 38, Falling Waters, WV. He previously bowled Thursday Night Triples at Southside. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by a daughter, Sara J. Wolf (Anthony) of Hagerstown, MD, and a son, Joshua S. Cline (Charlyn) of Halfway, MD. 2 sisters Doris Reiff of Pinesburg, MD, and Faye Wolfe, of Williamsport, MD. 1 brother, Kenneth F. Cline, Jr. of Williamsport, MD. 3 grandchildren, Aryn Willoby, Brooke Cline, Carson Wolf. 2 great-grandchildren, Jameson and Eleanor and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm for the convenience of family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 am at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. with Pastor Chris Bishop officiating. Military honors will be provided by Clopper-Michael Post #10 American Legion Boonsboro, MD. Memorial donations may be made to Potomac Post 202 American Legion, 400 American Legion Avenue, Williamsport, MD 21795
