Gregory Wayne Shank

Gregory Wayne Shank, 73, of Williamsport, MD, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. He was born March 10, 1952 in Hagerstown, MD, to the late Robert Silas Shank and Delores Elaine (Deeds) Shank. He was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Philip L. Teach and a brother-in-law, Philip A. "Scottie" Teach. Gregory was employed for 35 years by Certain-Teed, Inc., of Williamsport, until his retirement in 2014. He was a Christian. Gregory was a life-long member of the Potomac Fish & Game Club. He served on various committees and helped with many events. He enjoyed hunting, fishing with his granddaughter, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Teach-Shank, who he married in 1997. 1 daughter, Velvet Lorraine Shirley (Ron) of Fairplay, MD. 1 granddaughter Serena Lynn Shirley of Fairplay, MD, who was the love of his life. 3 sisters, Barbara Shank, of Hagerstown, MD, Kathy James (Bill) and Linda Shank (Mark) of Martinsburg, WV. 2 brothers, Bob Shank (Barbara) and Barry Shank (Lisa) all of Hagerstown, MD. Sister-in-law, Berta Teach of Williamsport, MD, and brother-in-law Doug DeLauter of Tilghmanton, MD. Numerous nieces and nephews and best friend Lisa Graley, Greencastle, PA.
