Constance (Connie) Louise Muehlman March 23, 1939 – October 4, 2025,

On the early morning of October 4, 2025, Constance "Connie" Louise Muehlman passed away peacefully at home at the age of 86. Connie was born on March 23, 1939, to Joseph Edward and Doris Marie Cox. A lifelong resident of Springfield, Missouri, Connie cherished her community and family roots. She graduated from Parkview High School and, at age 19, married Jack Gray. Together, they had three children: Stacey Dawn, Lesley Louise, and Jack Andrew.

A devoted homemaker and talented seamstress, Connie found joy in creating and caring for her home and family. Later in life, she worked for over 23 years at Commerce Bank, where she was a dedicated and valued team member. Connie had a love for crocheting and created many beautiful afghans that will be treasured for generations. She also enjoyed square dancing, and it was through that shared passion that she met the love of her life, John W. Muehlman. Together, they were active members of the Springfield Church of God and shared 25 wonderful years of marriage. In the last decade of her life, Connie bravely battled Alzheimer's disease. Through it all, John remained her loving and devoted caregiver.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband, John W. Muehlman; her brother, Marty Cox (wife Janice), and nephew Caleb; and her three children: Stacey, Lesley, and Jack. She also leaves behind grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will remember her warmth, strength, and kindness.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.
