Constance Patrick, 90, reunited with her husband Arthur Patrick in eternal rest on February 27, 2023.
Constance Wanda (Milewski) Patrick of
Feasterville, Pennsylvania passed away at St. Mary Medical Center with her family at her bedside on February 27, 2023 following a sudden illness. Her passing was blessed with her entire family praying with her until the Lord took her home. She was a resident of Chandler Hall Personal Care since September 2022.
Constance (Connie) was born in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania June 18, 1932. She is the daughter of John and Stefanie (Zarenkiewicz) Milewski. She was a Philly girl from St Adalbert's Parish in the Richmond section of Philadelphia. She graduated from Nazareth Academy in
Philadelphia, PA. She married Arthur Patrick in 1952 before he was deployed to the Korean war. When her husband safely returned home from the war they lived in Philadelphia. They moved to Feasterville, PA in 1961 and raised their four children. This was their home for 62 years.
Connie was proud of her career as a mother and housewife, she believed this was her calling in life. She also enjoyed working at a variety of part time jobs; Avon Lady, Chandler Hall Care Support, Lane Bryant sales person and also the person who gave out samples at Acme or other food chains. She was an avid gardener. Moving to Feasterville made her happy and she appreciated the open space. She cultivated her hobby of gardening which occupied most of her time when she wasn't with her family. Up until the last few years you would see her on her knees with her hands in the dirt planting annuals and perennials for every season of growing. She was very proud of her gardens especially when she had the pool in the backyard. Family and friends called her home the 'Patrick Resort'. Many parties and family celebrations took place at the 'Patrick Resort' over the years.
Connie and her husband Arthur celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in April 2022. During their marriage they enjoyed traveling together to Hawaii, Italy, Bermuda, California and Florida. But their favorite vacation was the yearly trips to Maine to visit her husband's family. These trips eventually developed into yearly trips to
Belgrade Lakes, Maine. Their love of staying at camps on the lake was embraced and continued on by their children Linda, Arthur, David, John and their families.
Connie volunteered at the Mother Katharine Drexel Shrine in Bensalem until it closed. She often made contributions and visits to the Poor Clares Monastery in Langhorne PA. Her love of gardening extended to volunteering to beautify the entryway of Assumption BVM Church in Feasterville. The parish highlighted Connie in the 'News from the Pews' newsletter in the summer of 2015. They quoted her 'If everyone smiled, the world would be a better place'.
Along with her passion for gardening; she held most dear to her heart the role as a mom, a sister, a grandmom, a great grandmom, an aunt and a great aunt. She believed that a family who prays together and loves one another can get through anything.
Connie is predeceased by her husband Arthur 'Pat' Patrick, by her parents John and Stephanie (Zarenkiewicz) Milewski, her sister Joan Scarpielo, her sister Dorothy (Milewski) Infante and her husband George Infante.
Connie will be missed by her family, she is survived by many whom she loved and who loved her; daughter Linda DiGiulio and her husband Richard DiGiulio, son Arthur M. Connie enjoyed playing cards with her brother John and his family.
