Constance "Connie" Ward

Constance Ann (Wilson) Ward, known to family and friends as Connie, age 94, of Arlington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025.

Connie was born on November 12, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Rosalie and Axel Wilson. She grew up in the Boston area, graduated from Arlington High School, and went on to graduate from Katherine Gibbs School, subsequently working in various secretarial roles.

In 1954, she married Edward Ward, and they shared 63 years of marriage until his passing. Together they built a home centered on faith, family, and service. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was the heart of her life.

Faith was a cornerstone of Connie's life. She participated in numerous Bible studies and Christian women's groups, finding fellowship and purpose through her church community. When her children were young, she taught Sunday school, sharing her faith and values with the next generation.

Music was also a lifelong passion for Connie. She loved singing and was actively involved in choirs, including the choir at her home church,.Trinity Covenant Church in Lexington. She also sang with a traveling musical group known as The Messengers from First Baptist Church in Arlington, an experience that brought her great joy and allowed her to share her faith and love of music with others.

Connie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward. She is survived by her children, Jane (Stephen) and Bruce (Cheryl); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
