Cora Grace Rogers Clark Alchin Oesterle, Howell MI, passed away on August 28,2025 at the age of 93. She was born on December 19, 1931, to Byron and Anna (Templeton) Rogers in Howell, MI. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. Wife of Donald L. Clark (1950 – 1974), George Alchin (1978 – 1983) and Paul D. Oesterle (1988 – 2014). Mother of Sandra L. Clark, Diana K. Warner and Walter B. Clark (Robin). Grandchildren include Melissa (Tom) Hale, Adam Warner, Bethany (Paul) Bickel, Allison (Ryan) Roberts, Cory Bader, Mitchell (Becky) Clark, and Alita (Lucas) Dark. Cora enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and going out with family and friends. She graduated from Cleary Business College with an Associate degree in 1950 and worked as a Secretary at the Hillcrest Development Disability Facility and at the Insurance Bureau for the State of Michigan before retiring in 1996. Cora was an active member of the Friends in Focus Child Study Club for many years and also engaged with the Livingston County Genealogy Society, the Friends of Webberville Library, was Clerk for the Alchin Farm Cemetery, and a leader for Girl Scout and 4-H clubs. As a member of the Webberville United Methodist Church since 1992, she held positions as Church Historian, Recording Secretary for the Church Council and Church Secretary for several years in the late 90s. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025, at 11 am at the Webberville United Methodist Church in Webberville MI. Visitation begins at the church at 10:00 and a luncheon will be held immediately following. All are welcome to attend. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Webberville United Methodist Church or the Livingston Genealogical Society.
