Corey was a giving and kind man, always willing to lend a hand. He was a great mechanic and he offered to and helped me with car repairs often, not sure how many brake jobs he did for me. He also helped with moving and heavy lifting.. always seemed to find the time for lending a hand. Corey loved animals and rescued and adopted several. And animals seemed to love him and know his heart, even the nervous ones would take to Corey. "Life" kept us from being in touch lately and I wish I would have had more time with him. I always enjoyed our visits and conversations. In honor of Corey and our shared love of animals, I am making a donation to the Humane Society in his name. I will miss you Corey, Love Uncle Mike

I knew Corey as always being kindhearted, gentle, and slow to anger. He enjoyed the simple things in life... fishing, cars, pets most importantly his beautiful family. He will be so sorely missed, but I believe he would want people to remember the good memories shared. I came across this poem and it touched my heart as if Corey were speaking it. I hope it gives some comfort to those who are grieving him. The poem was written by Christina Rossetti
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not for long and not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we have shared, miss me, but let me go
For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone
It´s all part of the master plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know
Laugh at all the things we used to do, Miss me but let me go.
Corey you will always be missed.. we simply can´t help it. But will always remember the love and joy you shared and in this way you will live on.
