In Loving Memory of Cornelio Reyes
February 1935 – October 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cornelio Reyes, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the age of 90.
Cornelio lived a life defined by integrity, devotion, and quiet strength. A man of principle and compassion, he was a steady presence to all who knew him. Family was his greatest pride and purpose. After the loss of his beloved daughter to cancer, Cornelio Reyes stepped forward without hesitation to raise his grandchildren, giving them the same love, guidance, and stability he had given his own children. His home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the simple wisdom of a life well-lived.
He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Whether lending a helping hand to a neighbor, sharing stories from his younger days, or sitting quietly with his family, Cornelio embodied grace and strength in every season of life.
Cornelio is survived by his five daughters, two sons, 13 grandchildren, and extended family, all of whom will carry his love and lessons forward. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Victoria, and his wonderful eldest daughter, Martha B. Ochoa.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to [charity, hospice, or cancer foundation] in his honor.
His love was steadfast, his presence a gift, and his legacy eternal. Cornelio Reyes will be greatly missed.
