Meenakshi H.J Bove, age 87, of Great Falls, VA, passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2025, with family next to her. She was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was born October 28, 1937, in Surat, India.

She had a wonderful career at the World Bank working for the director of the bank before her retirement. She was also an accomplished Opera singer, performing with the Washinton Opera, and singing at private concerts globally. She enjoyed spending time with her family tinkering with inventions and traveling around the world.

She was a kind and generous person, always willing to help friends or family. She was always the life of the party and enjoyed having friends and family come to her home to celebrate any special occasion. Her love of life, music and charming personality will be missed.

Meenakshi was proceeded in death by her husband Paul W Bove. She is survived by her children Caroline Grossmann, Clifford James, and stepchildren Kevin Bove (Arlene), Patricia Hays (Heman), and Mark Bove, as well as numerous grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent, Kyla, Avinash, Deven, Kathleen, Gabriella, Christopher, Juliana, Bree, Thomas, Cynthia, Isabelle, Alexander, and several great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her sister Emmy Ingram (Lee), and sister-in-law Suhasini John, and is survived by her siblings Fredrick John (Anne), Elizabeth John, and Sukumar John.
