Cornelius Vanderkolk Obituary
Neil graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1968 and from Purdue University Veterinarian School in 1974. He married Dagmar Senekovic in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 7, 1979.
He was a member of the Indiana Veterinarian Medical Association and worked for the Indiana Board of Animal Health. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Neil enjoyed reading history, economics and medical books.
Neil is survived by his wife, Dagmar and their two sons; C. J. Vanderkolk of Hawaii and Josh Vanderkolk of Lafayette; siblings, Claudia Vanderkolk of Santa Fe, NM, David (Melodie) Vanderkolk, of Neenah, WI, Peter Vanderkolk of Kokomo, IN, John (Pam) Vanderkolk of Bluffton, IN, Joseph (Susan) Vanderkolk of Morrow, OH and Amy Vanderkolk of Lafayette, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey Vanderkolk.

Dagmar & Family, I was sorry to hear about Dr Vanderkolk's passing, I worked with him at the BOAH until I left in 2003 to dairy. I wish there'd been more time to just talk when at work but there never was, as I learned after I made my once in a lifetime trip to The Netherlands in 2000, that his great grandparents had immigrated from Sint Annaparochie, Friesland, Netherlands which is where my grandfather and his brother immigrated from in the early 1900's and that we might be related. Actually my whole paternal side came from Friesland and I still have family there. FB helps to stay in touch with them.
