Corrine Hilda Mae Hardy

Corrine Hilda Mae Hardy was born on December 30, 1932. Corrine passed away on January 23rd, 2022 in Bountiful, UT at the age of 89.
Corrine was born to Jansen and Margaret Poppe of Langley, Iowa. She was the youngest of three children, Alnora Ross and Donald Poppe. Corrine and her family moved to California in 1940 from Iowa. Corrine graduated from Hollywood High School in 1948. Was married to Frank T. Hardy Jr in 1957 Las Vegas NV.
Corrine had a zest for life and loved spending time with her husband and children traveling to new places, hunting, collecting rocks, and volunteering at their schools. Corrine and her husband owned and operated a variety of businesses including a video store and lakefront resort. Corrine had several hobbies including reading, volunteering with the Junabees, playing Bunco, and also had a love for QVC. Corrine was an active grandparent and spent countless summers taking her grandchildren to new places including the beach, pools, and waterparks even though she didn't always love the water. The family will cherish these memories and time spent with her for a lifetime.
Corrine is survived by two children; Frank Hardy (Pam) and Kathleen Worthley (Ron), 5 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren; Alisha Griffin (Scott) great grandchildren, Payton, twins Greyson and Beckett Griffin. Brian Worthley (Danielle), great grandchildren, Jaron, Jason, and Kaitlyn Worthley. Don Worthley (Charee) great grandchildren Ethan and Andrea Worthley. Jill Dyson (Adam) great grandchildren, Gage and Alex Dyson. Ron Worthley, great grandchildren, Damion, and Drake Worthley.
Corrine was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Hardy Jr, daughter, Kimberly Hardy, brother Donald Poppe and sister Alnora Ross.
A private graveside ceremony will be in held in her honor on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022 at Desert Lawn Cemetery in Palmdale, CA.
