Cory A. Ingle, age 43, of Ollie, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at his home in Ollie
surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on December 11, 1981 in Ottumwa, Iowa,
the son of Jackie "Jack" and Dondra (Rowland) Ingle. He attended Pekin Community School and
graduated in 2000. He later earned his Diesel Tech Degree at Indian Hills Community College.
On October 17, 2020 Cory was united in marriage to Shawna Ingle.
Cory was a farmer his whole life, working with his father and grandfather. He also worked as
a diesel mechanic. Cory was a jack of all trades and could fix whatever was put in his hands. He
enjoyed anything to do with tractors, whether it was working on them or collecting them, it was
his joy. He also enjoyed going on side by side rides and attending the Old Threshers.
He is survived by his wife, Shawna Ingle, a daughter, Holly (Klaeton) Van De Kieft, a son,
Drake Walker, his grandchildren, Brooks and Ivy Van De Kieft, a brother, Jason (Lindsey) Ingle
and his niece and nephews, Avery, Brooks and Hogan.
Cory was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents and an uncle, Marty Ingle.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Prairie View Church
in Ollie with Pastor Danny Carey officiating. Burial will take place at Rock Creek Cemetery near
Ollie. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held on
Sunday, May 4 2025 from 1-3 p.m. at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with Cory's family present to
greet relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the family.
