RICHMOND, IN– Coty Coyle, age 40, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at home.
Coty was born May 28, 1983, in Richmond, Indiana, and lived all of his life in this community. He loved his job working as a peer review counselor for Bridges of Life. Coty was a member of Oak Park Church. Family and friends were very dear to Coty, and he treasured spending time with them. He enjoyed helping people and really had a heart for the homeless and those suffering from addiction.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Vonda and Bruce Anthony; children, Carrigan, Corinne and Allison Coyle; fiancé, Lynn Gifford and her children, Kaleb, Bryce, Alaina, and Tiffany; grandmother, Phyllis Thomas; siblings, Kelly, Noah, Jacob, and Christian Thomas; nephew, Kenneth Friendly; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by Mark Thomas; maternal grandparents, Myron and Sue Updike; and brother, Chase Thomas.
"Momma loves you and until I see you again, you'll always be my drummer boy".
Visitation for Coty Coyle will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery in Dublin, Indiana.
