Courtney Holt Lynn

Courtney Holt Lynn, 42 of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her home. She was born in Chattanooga on September 18, 1982, to Marena Fite and Johnny Mack Holt. She was a member of Greater Beulah Baptist Church. After graduating from Central High School, Courtney went on to graduate from CNA School at Chattanooga State. She worked as a CNA in Chattanooga for 5 years. She went on to work at Volkswagen for 15 years. In her free time, Courtney enjoyed photography. She also enjoyed trips to Pensacola, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ted and Belle Holt; maternal grandfather, John Fite; grandmother, Grace Fults; grandfather, James Edgmon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Scott; children, Holt and Addison; step-children, Abby, Kiley, Madison, Sky, Jacob, Trintom, and Skarlett; mother, Marena (Andrew) Fults; father, Johnny Mack Holt; maternal grandmother, Sally Edgmon; parents-in-law, Scott and Sonya Lynn; step-grandmother, Gracie Fite; sister, Summar (Chris) Wilson; nephews, Ethan and Jacob; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 4:00PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home of Chattanooga located at 6018 John Douglass Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421. A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will immediately follow visitation beginning at 4:00PM in the Chapel at Companion Funeral Home of Chattanooga with Pastor Sims Gibson, Jr. officiating.
