Craig Robert Dupell, 58, of Mohnton, PA, passed away on July 14, 2024 at Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Norristown on May 19, 1966, he was the youngest son of Jean (Trout) Dupell and the late Francis Dupell. He was the loving husband of Michelle (Mazzenga), with whom he would be celebrating 30 years of Marriage on November 19. In addition to his mother and his wife, those left to cherish his memory are his children, Joshua, Aric and Amanda, and his grandson, Landon Varish, whom he loved unconditionally. Craig is also survived by his brother David (Rose) Dupell and Valerie (Michael) Long, and nieces and nephews, Arielle, David, Daniel, Andrew and Rachel and great nephews and niece, Mason, Kayleigh, Oliver, Travis and Austin.
After graduating from Norristown High School, Craig attended St. Joseph's University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Food Marketing in 1989. During his time at St. Joe's, Craig met and fell in love with "the girl from the bank", after not so discretely passing her a note on the back of a deposit slip.
Craig was instrumental in the growth of the sport of youth lacrosse in Berks County, where he coached for many years and served as President of the Governor Mifflin Youth Lacrosse Club. Long after his own children moved on from youth sports, he continued to coach the second and third graders, where he could often be seen sucking on Blow Pops lollipops on the sidelines. He also coached Mifflin Broncos football for many years.
He was an avid lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills and would often travel to Buffalo for tailgates and games where he made many friends.
Craig was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at PECO Energy in Philadelphia, having worked over 25 years in various positions in the Gas Department.
