Craig Michael Gavin, went home to the Lord on August 24, 2025 at the age of 75.

Born on April 30, 1950 in Portland, OR, Craig was the eldest of 2 children born to Patrick Arthur Gavin and Judith Victoria Tjosevig. In 1968 Craig graduated from Beaverton High School. He married Linda See in 1977, and together they raised 2 children with faith, love, and dedication.

Craig worked as the owner/operator of Freedom Enterprises, where he was respected and cherished by the community since 1980. Craig was a huge sports enthusiast in the mid 60's he enjoyed being the bat boy for the visiting teams that played against the Portland Beavers. He also worked for Portland Farrell's in the late 60's to early 70's where he helped train new employees when opening brand new stores out of state. His greatest joy, however, came from being with family and supporting local sports teams.

He will be remembered for his faith, work ethic and sense of humor.

Craig Gavin is survived by Patrick (Kristin) Gavin and Angela (Antwain) Williams, and five grandchildren – Will, May, Rob, Korbin and Riley. His brother Brian Gavin.

A Catholic funeral mass will be held on Tuesday September 9, 2025 at 11am (Rosary at 10:15) at St. Anthony Catholic Church 3720 SE 79th Portland, OR 97206.

All who knew Craig are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sisters of Reparation of the Sacred Wounds of Jesus in Portland Oregon.
