Craig Andrea Harrell, 70 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on February 13, 2025 with his family by his side. Craig was born and raised in Gainesville, Texas on March 9, 1954 to Sylvester Harrell and Ruthnell Childress. A graduate from Gainesville High School Class of 1972. He later attended Cooke County College where he studied Automotive, Welding and AC. He worked at the University of North Texas for several years and worked at Petro Flex for 20 years where he later retired. Craig loved to play his drums and was teaching himself to play the guitar. He loved the Lord, also people and would do anything to help if they needed.
Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Harrell and Ruth Nell Childress; grandparents, Chester and Christine Childress; sister, Terrance Dougles.
He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Regina Harrell; daughter, LaRessa Wells; bonus daughter, Monica Scott; 4 grandchildren, Tim Wells, Jr., Keylan, Kaden & Kelis Scott; nephew, Caleb Douglas Jackson and great nephew, Caleb Jackson, Jr. along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, 1204 E. California Street, Gainesville, Texas. Service will follow visitation at 2:00 pm. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas.
