MORTON – Craig A. Hicks, 51, of Morton, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at his home.
He was born on July 10, 1973, in Peoria, Illinois, to Richard "Doug" and Elaine (List) Hicks. Craig married Jamie Fields on April 17, 2016, in Morton.
Surviving are his wife, Jamie Hicks of Morton; three children, Logan Hicks of Pekin, Katelyn Hicks of Morton and Alec Hicks of Morton; his father, Richard "Doug" Hicks; and one brother, Bradley Hicks of Morton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine.
Craig was employed by Costco in East Peoria.
He was an avid gamer. Craig was a social butterfly who loved everybody. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching movies and sports. Craig loved the Dallas Cowboys and singing karaoke.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.

I was very surprised and saddened to find out that Craig has died.
Just heard of this from his co-worker. He and I touched base a couple of times in the recent past and it was great catching up.
To Doug and Bradley especially - my heart breaks for you this year.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was lucky enough to work with Craig at Costco. Friendly, kind, and always a face I looked forward to seeing. I am so grateful I was able to see him more while he recently trained in the food court. Gonna miss you, friend. Rest easy.
