Craig Michael Lesage, 64, of Essex, VT passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Born on December 5, 1960, Craig was known by friends and family as a great gardener, with a natural green thumb. When looking for Craig, he was frequently found tinkering in the yard or playing with an animal. He loved to go to NASCAR races and, along with his son Kyle, was a loyal fan to the Minnesota Vikings. He maintained a positive outlook and even on his worst days he could pick out the good in life. He loved to be with his family, never missed a birthday, and always did his very best to live his fullest and happiest life.
Craig leaves behind his two sons, Kyle Lesage and wife Meghan Lesage and their 3 children Brexton, Khloe and Madison; Kalvin Lesage and his children Beckett, Olivia Rae and Korbin; and his longtime partner Sheryl Sartelle. He is also survived by his brother, Jerome and fiance Julie Provost, and children Nathan (Partner Jamie, Daughter Ava), Matthew (Partner Ashley, daughter McKena), Brittany (Husband Jacob, sons Aiden, Wyatt, Roman and Ascher); and his sister Denise Mongeon and husband Ormand. He leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Ruth (Young) Lesage, and sister Lisa Lesage.
The family has decided to do a family only reception at a later date. Craig will be deeply missed by his family.
