Craig W. Moegenburg, 57, of Wittenberg, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his home.
Craig was born on March 21, 1967, in West Bend, the son of Ralph and Rosemary (VandeBoom) Moegenburg of Hatley. On April 18, 2000, Craig was united in marriage to Jody Hein in Las Vegas. She survives.
Craig served his country in the United States Army Reserves for seven years. Craig was a Union Laborer for Miron Construction for 20 years and retired from Boldt Construction at the age of 55. Craig was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and going to auto races. He was an avid wrestling fan and was active in the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Charger's wrestling program. He enjoyed life and took pride in his home and property and enjoyed hunting.
Craig is survived by his wife Jody; son Chad (girlfriend, Paige) Moegenburg; parents, Ralph and Rosemary Moegenburg; sister, Crystal (Marv) Zuidema; mother-in-law, Judy Hein; brother-in-law, Brad (Tammy) Hein and many other relatives and friends.
Craig was preceded in death by a brother, Cory; father-in-law, Barry and several other relatives.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Saturday, MAY 4, 2024, at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, MAY 3, from 4PM to 7PM and again on Saturday from 9AM until the time of Mass, ALL AT THE CHURCH.
