Craig S. Shaw, Sr., age 62, of Millsboro, DE ( Formerly of Newark) passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Craig was born in Wilmington, DE on June 8, 1962, to the late Robert and Aida (Obizzi) Shaw. In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Wendy Ann Shaw, who passed in 2016.

Craig Shaw, a lifelong Delaware resident, passed away after a life filled with love, dedication, and passion. He graduated from St. Mark's High School and went on to dedicate over 40 years of his life to working at his family's printing business, Brandywine Graphics Incorporated.

Above all, Craig's greatest joy came from being a devoted father and spending time with his grandchildren, especially playing in the yard with them. He had a deep love for the outdoors, and his hobbies reflected that. A passionate fisherman and hunter, Craig created countless memories with Family and friends, especially at IBSP beach or on his boat in the Rehoboth Bay. His love for fishing was more than a pastime, it was a way of life. He lived by the simple mantra: Eat, sleep, and go fish.

An avid Eagles fan, Craig also had a love for football. For over 15 years, he coached defensive end at Holy Angels, sharing his knowledge and passion for the game with the next generation. His former players still fondly refer to him as "Coach Shaw." Known for his memorable voice and a heart full of warmth, Craig left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed his path.

Craig leaves behind his three children: Craig S Shaw, Jr., Candice M. Flasser (Gregory), and Michael A. Shaw. Three grandchildren: Cameron Shaw, Addy Flasser, and Landon Shaw. Three siblings Sandra Sneeringer (Earl), Robert Shaw, Jr. (Michele), and Michele Lennon (Matthew, Jr). Craig is survived by his girlfriend Karen Downs, his lifelong best friend John Hitchens and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Craig was a hardworking man, a great father, a special "Poppop" and he will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 9th, 2025 at 12pm at Holy Angel's Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Rd. Newark, DE 19711. Where family and friends may call from 10am-12pm. Interment will be held privately on a later date.
