Cressant Marie Dutton was born May 6, 1971 in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born to Rod Dutton and Ardella Needs (Billman). She grew up in Albion, Iowa and attended school in Marshalltown, later graduating from Marshalltown High School with the class of 1989. She went on to further her education at Marshalltown Community College.
On October 5, 1991, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Tim Borton. They moved together to Haverhill and began a family of their own raising three children, Austin, Matthew, and Ethan. Cressant spent her career working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and recently celebrated 33 years.
Her boys were her everything. Her zest for life was unmatched. Cressant brought the spirit and spunk everywhere she went. Her obsession with purple, Yeti, shopping, and Kid Rock are things that her family and friends will always remember her for.
In her free time, she loved to be with family and friends. She was a member of pool, bowling, and dart leagues. She had a huge heart for animals and donated to the Animal rescue league monthly. When her children were younger she volunteered on the Marshalltown Area Soccer Club and Marshalltown Little League boards. She loved crafting and if there was a beach vacation involved, Cressant was there! She loved taking vacations with her family and friends. She was a passionate Dallas Cowboys and Iowa State fan. She loved her fur babies, Charlee, Tank and Tony, and spending as much time as she could with her family, friends, and grandpups.
Those left to remember and cherish her memory are her husband Tim Borton; her children, Austin (Rachel Segura) Borton, Matthew (Aly Wenner) Borton, and Ethan (fiancé Serena) Borton; her pets Charlee, Tank, and Tony; her parents, Rod (Dodie) Dutton and Ardella Needs; siblings, Brandon (Tina) Dutton and Austin, Tayven, and Tasha, Kyley (Bryan) Leger and Maximus, Quinten, and Hudson, Tim (Trisha) Price and family; mother-in-law, Jan Borton; sister-in-law, Lynne Borton; and fur grandpups, Stormy, Lola, Benji, and Bolt.
