Crew Denney

Crew Anderson Denney passed away on December 22, 2025 at the age of 22 months after a short illness. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Jim Wilburn and Brother Tim Frank, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27th, 2025 at First Baptist Church Carthage (409 Main St N), Carthage, TN. Crew will be laid to rest in Bethlehem Cemetery near their family home after the service. Visitation will be held at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN on Friday, December 26th from 3-7 p.m. and the visitation at the church will be from 11 a.m. until the service time at 1 p.m.
Crew Anderson Denney was born in Hermitage, TN on February 9, 2024 to Katie Elizabeth Denney and Grant Anderson Denney. Crew loved his two older siblings so very much, and always wanted to be playing with them, especially outside. He loved for his daddy to swing him in their front yard and to look across the road at the cows. His favorite place to be was nestled up against his mama's heart while sitting in her lap. Crew loved every creature that God made; especially his dog "Jake", tigers and cows.
Crew leaves behind his parents, Grant and Katie, brother and sister Cooper and Campbell, grandparents David and Lynn Daugherty, and Mike and Venessa Denney, great grandparents Cecil Daugherty and BJ and Geraldine Reich. Crew also leaves behind aunt Mary Michael Bryan, cousins Parker Bryan, Madison King, and Kaitlyn Steele and many other loving family members and church family members.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Hackett, Logan Hackett, Jerimiah Wilkerson, and Stephen Russell.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Crew Anderson Denney Foundation at any Wilson Bank location. The family will use the foundation to honor Crew's name in order to help others going through childhood cancer or the grieving process in the future.
