Cristiane Da Cunha Hohenberger

Cristiane Da Cunha Hohenberger, 51, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Texas, with interment to follow at Grapetown Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Cristiane was born on July 26, 1973, in Carpina, Pernambuco, Brazil, to Luiz Mauricio Da Cunha and Noemia De Melo Porto Da Cunha. In 2017, she moved to the United States, where she married Mark Hohenberger. Together, they welcomed their son, Otto Luiz, in 2018, who was the light of her life.
Known for her vibrant spirit and warm smile, Cristiane brightened any room she entered. She had a love for chocolate, a natural flair for fashion, and a dream of seeing the world. Passionate about flowers and nature, she surrounded herself with plants and animals that reflected her gentle, caring spirit. Above all, she was a devoted daughter and mother, deeply dedicated to her family.
Cristiane was preceded in death by her father, Luiz Mauricio Da Cunha. She is survived by her husband, Mark Hohenberger; her son, Otto Luiz; her mother, Noemia De Melo Porto Da Cunha; her sisters, Jane Da Cunha (Luciano), Vera Melo Porto (Antonio), and Cristina Da Cunha (Elinor); her brother, Luiz Da Cunha (Raiara); her stepdaughter, Meredith Hohenberger; her stepson, Andrew Hohenberger (Megan); and in-laws Gary (Gina), Rita Olsgard, Linda Fanning (Tom), and Julie Punches (Doug). She is also survived by her step-grandchildren Hampton, Hayes, Hollis "Dub," and Miller Hohenberger, and her beloved niece and nephews, Elisson "Thiago" Da Silva, Luis Da Silva (Stephanie), Joaco Da Silva, Diogo Dos Santos, Enzo Cunha, Luiz Cunha, Daniel Melo Porto, and Fernanda Dos Santos.
