Crystal Crick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith-Gallo Funeral Home - Guthrie on Mar. 20, 2025.
Crystal Candace (Baker) Crick, a lover of nature, outdoor hunting sports, family, body building, glittery things, and great food, passed away March 18, 2025. She was at home with her husband, Timmy Crick, when she passed.
Candace was born September 22, 1983 to Kyle Baker and Deborah Thornton in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Candace grew up in and around Guthrie and Edmond, where she graduated from Edmond North High School. After high school she lived in Texas, and married Chris Moralez. They had 2 sons together, Keegan and Kyler. They later divorced and she found herself back in Oklahoma where she eventually found the love of her life.
Candace and Timmy married April 1, 2010 and they raised 5 boys together and also a girl who lived away from their home. Candace loved everything about family and loved to entertain. She always made sure that everyone was included and felt loved. She loved to travel and went on several hunting trips all across the U.S. with her favorite hunting buddy, Timmy. Candace had many business endeavors throughout the years and most recently, she was a personal trainer, and a meal prep planner/chef. Her latest passion in the last 4 years was body building and she competed in many shows. She has stated that it was hard work, but it actually helped her to overcome most of her anxiety that she had battled with.
Candace always had her little black Cocker spaniel, Roo, by her side and Roo brought her much love and peace that she needed. Candace will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. There is definitely a hole that can not be filled by her absence.
Candace is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Thornton; her uncle, Ronnie Thornton; father-in -law, Elton Crick; and mother-in-law, Bonnie Johnston.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Timmy Crick of Meridian; sons, Keegan Moralez of Texas, and Kyler Moralez of Edmond; step-children, River Crick of Edmond, Forrest (Brooke) Crick of Chandler, Sunny (Liz) Crick of Crescent, and Kyra Crick of Edmond; father, Kyle Baker of Guthrie; grandmother, Sarah Rogan of Texas; step-dad, Chris Forno of Texas; step-brother Chris Forno of Texas; half-sister, Brittany Moore of Texas; mother-in-law, Patsy Crick of Guthrie; father-in-law, Tim Johnston of Crescent; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, grandbabies, many other family members, childhood friends, friends from her many adventures, old friends and new. She had so many people in her life that loved her and forever will miss her.
Memorial services for Candace will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 28, 2025 at Smith Memorial Chapel located at 220 North 1st Street in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
