Terrie Christine Silvers

Terrie Christine Silvers, 66, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away at 5:00 A.M., Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Guthrie. She was born October 30,1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to James and Wanda (Carnes) Ferris.

Terrie graduated in 1977 from Guthrie High School. She and Michael met in 7th grade and they were inseparable ever since. They were married on November 2, 1979 and had two daughters, Shylia and Kristie. Terrie lived in Guthrie since the age of 10 and worked at UCO for 30 years. Her heart was dedicated to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael; father and mother, Jimmy and Wanda Ferris; grandfather and grandmother, Bill and Frances Ferris; father-in-law, Jerold; and brother- in-law, Gary Silvers.

Terrie is survived by her mother-in-law, Carolyn Silvers; two daughters, Shylia and husband, Ashley Trout of Benbrook, Texas and Kristie Scheihing of Guthrie; siblings, Terena Quinnett and husband, David of Mustang, Oklahoma, Angela Jacobs and husband, Nick of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, Jan Poe and husband, Steve of Guthrie, Jimmy Ferris of Phoenix, Arizona, Debra Ferris Reddington, William 'Billy' Ferris, and Juanda Jean Ferris; and many nieces and nephews. She was also a very proud memaw to 8 grandchildren, Ellagrace and Ayden Trout of Benbrook, Timber and husband, Adam, Tucker, Cora, Lena, Trason, and Adeline Scheihing all of Guthrie. She also has 2 great-grandchildren, Harrison and Daisy of Guthrie.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday January 20, 2026 at Summit View Cemetery located at 1808 North Pine Street in Guthrie. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044

Per Terrie's wishes, a private family visitation will be held.
