Janet Ann Widick

Janet Ann (Ringle) Widick, 81, was born July 16, 1944, in Independence, Kansas. She passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 at her home in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Janet was a loving and devoted mother who dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked as a school teacher for many years, ran her church's childcare facility, and later worked at a Christian bookstore. Her faith in Christ was the foundation of her life and guided the way she served her family and community.

She loved cross-stitch projects, reading, and brain teaser games; always keeping her hands and mind busy. More than anything, she cherished her family.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Karen and Sharon; her brother, Bill; and her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Shawn Widick (Leasa) and Jason Widick (Teresa); her sister, Pat; her grandsons, Kolton (Ciara) and Karsten; granddaughter, Emilia; and her great-granddaughter, Amelia.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.

There will be no public viewing.

Janet was deeply loved and is greatly missed.
