Crystal Lynn Hamilton

Crystal Lynn Hamilton was born in Cleveland, Ohio February 4, 1970, to proud parents Randolph Vassar and Anita Freeman. Crystal is a graduate of Shaw High School and studied at Several Secondary Educational Institutions before she earned a President's Award and Medical Assistants Degree from the Cleveland Institute of Dental and Medical Assistants in Mentor, Ohio. Crystal worked several rewarding jobs, the most impactful was her work as a Teacher's Aid alongside her friend and mentor, Jane Addis. Throughout her career she worked alongside many wonderful teachers and Faculty at Euclid High School. Crystal's passion was for helping people and before her illness was in pursuit of a Nursing degree at Cuyahoga Community College.
Crystal and Christopher Hamilton became a couple on October 1,1987 and were Married on January 17, 1997. They recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary. Affectionately known by their friends as "The Chrisses" their union produced 3 Children: Deron Lebrian (Shyremia), Darien Lemar (Kisha) and Bre'Anna Denise. They have 5 Grandchildren, Kishawn, Kyrie, Oliver Noah, Haley and Ariana.
Crystal enjoyed all that life had to offer evidenced by her generosity and kindness towards others. In her spare time, she also enjoyed seeing the world and being adventurous. She was an avid traveler and cruiser who was blessed to take several trips to beautiful and remote places around the world. She loved the Lord and was truly a woman of God. One of her favorite quotes was " Walk By Faith and Not By Sight". Crystal was baptized and Born Again on October 20, 2019, at the Wickliffe Campus of Church On The North Coast by Pastors Mario and Courtney Hauser.
Crystal transitioned from this world to be with the Lord on January 23, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She leaves to mourn and honor her memory her loving husband Christopher, mother Anita Mitchell (Billy), mother-in-law Shirly B. Hamilton-Pierce, step-mother Betty Vassar, Sisters: Tanya (Johnny Lee), Jeanette Sanchez (Domingo), Felicia Pierce, Fontella Pierce, Brothers: Antwan (Jasmine), Mario Vassar, Ramsey Vassar, and Damon (Lavette), and a host of loving family members and close friends whom all were witnesses to her strength, her passion for family, her infectious smile and Hysterical Crystal Laugh.
