Crystol Jaye Benson, affectionately known to many as Meto....for those of you who don't know the story of her nickname it's because when we were younger anytime somebody asked for something Crystol would ALWAYS SAY METO! She was determined to be included, that's for sure! Crystol did not sugar coat anything and spoke her mind FREELY. She was known for her silly laugh and knack for embarrassing you...LOL!
Crystol was born on November 1, 1974, in Xenia, Ohio to parents, Teresa and Donald Ratliff. Meto's journey through life was one marked by unwavering determination and a deep-seated love for her family and friends. Her educational experiences shaped her into a diligent and dedicated worker, known for her remarkable work ethic. Throughout her career, Meto held numerous positions as a housekeeper, walking to and from every shift without fail. Her determination to earn her own way in the world was both admirable and inspiring.
Family was the cornerstone of Meto's life. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her mother, Teresa Ratliff, beloved son, Christian, and daughter-in-law, Emmy Ratliff of Minot, North Dakota. Meto's sisters, Angie Elliott of Kettering, Ohio and Dreama Ratliff of Fairborn, Ohio. Meto has several brothers... Tony, Garrett, Dalton, Chris Jarvis and Kyle Ratliff. The bond she shared with her nephew, Colby Kennedy and nieces, Nicki and Aliah Ratliff were very special; along with her great-niece, Nova and Aliah's fiance, Erik Stump. Crystol's affection and love for her family was unwavering.
Meto's spiritual beliefs provided her with comfort and guidance throughout her life. She approached the world with an open heart and a soulful understanding that resonated with those around her. Her interests included shopping sprees, flea markets, dining out, but above all, she cherished quality time with her friends and family.... her Raven & James whom she loved to spoil.
