A limb has fallen from the family tree
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Curtis Davis, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Curtis was born May 9,1945 in Pansey, Alabama to the late Mr. JC Davis and Mrs. Rosetta Davis.
On November 26,1967 he married the love of his life, Mrs. Catherine Davis and would go on to live in Holy Matrimony for 57 years. Curtis was known for his unwavering strength, kind spirit, and deep love for the simple pleasures in life.
For many years, Curtis dedicated his hands and heart to the art of tree trimming. His work, marked by skill and dedication, was a reflection of his meticulous nature and profound respect for the natural world. He found joy in the beauty of the trees he tended and took great pride in his craft.
Outside of work, Curtis was a man of simple joys and deep passions. He cherished the time spent fishing by tranquil waters, where he found solace and a connection to the rhythms of nature. His love for hunting also brought him closer to the land he so dearly admired, allowing him moments of peace and reflection amid the wilderness.
Curtis's warmth extended far beyond his professional life, he was a devoted member of Wabasso Church of God where he was known for his faithfulness. A loving Husband and a nurturing father and Grandfather. His love for his family was boundless, and his presence was a constant source of comfort and strength. His laughter, wisdom, and stories will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In his memory, we will cherish the lessons he taught us about living simply and appreciating the beauty around us. Curtis's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the fond memories we hold dear.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Mr. JC Davis and Rosetta Davis, Grandparents; Mr. Malachi and Vetrice Weems.
Curtis leaves behind a legacy of love and a reminder to us all to find joy in the small moments and beauty in the everyday.
