Curtis Leonard Dunn, Jr., of Mansfield, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on May 24, 1947, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Curtis Leonard Dunn, Sr. and Margaret Breen Dunn.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk St., Mansfield, LA 71052. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Officiating the service will be Bro. Wayne Setliff. Honoring Curtis as pallbearers will be Stephen Herring, Christopher Wilt, Keenan Wilt, Austin Wilt, Blake Herring, and Henry Herring.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John Dunn and Charles Neal Dunn; his sister, Renee Dunn; his grandson, Dylan Dunn; and his stepson, Jerry Herring. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Dunn; his son, Curtis Dunn III; his daughter, Jennifer Dunn-Fothergill and husband Jeffrey; his stepchildren, Pamela Michot and husband Tim, Michael Herring and wife Leigh, Teresa Herring, and Sheila Wilt; his siblings, Linda Guilbeau, Richard Dunn, and Deborah Dunn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
