Curtis Lee Josie, 51, born on July 14, 1971 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Lawrence and Barbara Josie, departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by loved ones.
Curtis worked as a carpenter for many years and loved to be around people. He always lived life to the fullest and was full of love for others.
He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Josie, father Lawrence Josie, brothers Robert Gaston and Brian Rogers, sister Marsha Swearer and infant children Hannah Josie and Miranda Josie.
He is survived by his son Chris Colley, daughters Alexis Josie and Kynlee Josie, brothers Rodney Josie and Shaun Josie, grandchildren Isaac Everett and Kaylee Colley, nephew Keilan Josie, Uncle Joe Williams and a host of cousins and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be James Tiger, Raymond Francis, Jon Francis, Dillon Wilson, Mark Forester and Chris Natseway.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Francis, Sarge Friday, Glen Bryant and William O'Brien
A wake service will be held at Schaudts Funeral home, 719 E 141st ST, Glenpool, OK 74033 on Sunday July 24, 2022 at 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Funeral service is Monday July 25, 2022 at Weogufkee Indian Baptist Church in Hanna, OK at 11:00 am.
